Jane Rodwan is the founder of A "Paws" for Pets LLC.  After an extensive career in administration, sales and customer service, she embarked on a mission to mesh her business background with her passion and love for animals.  Recommendations from friends and business associates sparked the idea for A "Paws" for Pets. 

Jane has over 20 years of experience owning dogs and cats, and has cared for the pets of friends.   In addition, her 13 years of volunteer work at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, her experience as a Dog Companion at Berea Animal Rescue Fund and as a Pet Tech at Paws by the Lake (Avon Lake, OH) has informed her keen understanding of animal behavior and care.  Jane also volunteers for Elefence International, Inc., a U.S. non-profit organization helping to resolve the human-wildlife conflict in Zambia.  She is detail-oriented and will carefully follow your instructions for the care of your pets, while adding an extra dash of love in each visit. 

Jane enjoys traveling internationally.  Her favorite destinations are Ireland, Kenya and Zambia.  In her free time, she enjoys photography and nature hikes and is an avid reader, focusing primarily on animal behavior, animal stories and Africa.  She embraces positive interactions with pets at all times.  They respond well to her nurturing spirit.  Her current pet is Quincy, an orange tabby she rescued.

Primary service area is Fairview Park, Rocky River, Westlake, west end of Lakewood, and east end of North Olmsted.  Other areas will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Jane is insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas.  

She is a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.

Jane is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid by PetTech.
